Stephen Breck Reid is currently Professor of Old Testament at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Prior to that, he was Associate Professor of Hebrew Scripture and Biblical Theology at the Pacific School of Religion and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, where he has taught from 1981 to 1992. He began his teaching career at the Interdenominational Theological Center of Black Seminaries in Atlanta, Georgia, and has been visiting professor and scholar at the University of Texas, Austin Presbyterian Seminary, Pacific Theological College in Suva, Fiji Islands, and Vancouver School of theology.
