Ordained in the Presbyterian Church in 1951, Robert James St. Clair served churches in Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Akron (Ohio). After founding the Center for Experiential Theology in 1976, he served as Parish Associate Minister at the First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley. He is a graduate of Brooklyn College (A.B.), Biblical Seminary in NewYork (S.T.B.), University of Cincinnati (M.A.), Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University (S.T.M.), and Chicago Theological Seminary (Rel.D.). He was Professor of Pastoral Theology -in the Hamma School of Theology, Wittenberg University (Springfield, Ohio) in 1968-75; and taught from time to time at the Pacific School of Religion and other schools within the Graduate Theological Union (Berkeley, California) as an adjunct professor until his death on January 5,1991. Other books written by Dr. St. Clair include: Neurotics in the Church (Revell, 1963); The Adventure of Being You (Revell, 1967); and Faith Sharing Evangelism, written with Dr. Richard Moore (Presbyterian Church, U.S.A., 1985)
