H. Wayne Ballard earned an M.Div. from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Old Testament from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently assistant professor of religion and philosophy at Campbell University and is the former Pastor of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Amherst, Ohio.
