Delbert Wiens holds a B.D. from Yale University and a Ph.D. in Hellenistic philosophy and religion from the University of Chicago. He has taught at Tabor College and, since 1969, at Fresno Pacific College. He has long been active in Mennonite ministries. From 1954 to 1957, he was the director of refugee resettlement and relief in South Vietnam for the Mennonite Central Committee. He is the author of several journal articles and two near-book-length studies.
